This process is managed by the Lands Commission in the respective regions within the country.

Preparation of bar code site plan: Our surveyors assist with speedy preparation of bar code site plans for clients whose documents do not have bar code site plans. We also recommend using an independently prepared site plan based on what was picked on the land in the presence of the client or client’s representative for all searches at the lands commission, as this give out better results than the site plans presented by the seller or previous owner
Ownership confirmation (Searches): We conduct a search at the lands commission at the appropriate region to ensure that, the ownership records of the land per your documents submitted conforms with the records of the lands commission.
Assisting with filling of forms and lodgments: We assist clients to fill the registration form, payment of the appropriate official fees and the lodgments of the documents for the registration

1. Having the right documents from the person you acquired the property form (chief, government agency, previous owner).
2. The document must have a bar code site plan.
3. The documents must be stamp by a lawyer and also at the law court.
4. Payment of Stam duty (Tax on the land, usually 1% of the property value)
5. Filling a registration form and attaching copy(ies) of the documents to be registered and lodging them as the Customer Service Access Unit (CSAU) of the lands commission.
6. Copy of a valid national ID card of person(s) registering the land must be provided
7. Payment of the appropriate fees for the registration
8. Registration process starts and the document goes through the various stages and departments necessary to work on the registration of the document
9. Upon successful registration of the documents, the client picks the registered document or land title certificate at the CSAU of the land commission with a copy of a valid national ID.
